Photograph Birds Sunday 12-21-25
Step into a living tapestry of marsh, sky, and wings at a National Wildlife Refuge. Join me at one of the East Coast’s most extraordinary havens for birds and wild beauty. This immersive photography workshop invites you to slow down, observe deeply, and create images that tell stories of place, light, and life.
Set against sweeping coastal marshes, winding waterways, and expansive skies, we’ll explore techniques for photographing birds in flight, intimate wildlife portraits, and evocative landscapes that capture the rhythm of the refuge. Expect to work with changing light, reflections, weather, and behavior, learning how timing, patience, and intention transform a moment into a photograph with impact.
Instruction will blend field-based guidance with creative coaching. We’ll cover composition, exposure choices, focus strategies for moving subjects, and how to convey mood and narrative in nature photography.
This workshop is welcoming to photographers of all levels and all camera systems. Whether you’re refining technical skills or seeking fresh inspiration, you’ll leave with new tools, stronger images, and a renewed way of seeing the natural world.
