Session 1 Wednesday 1-14-26 (AM) $299 7am to 11am. Session might involve walking
Session 2 Wednesday 1-14-26 (PM) $299 1:30 pm to sunset. Session does not involve walking
Attend the AM and PM sessions as well as this session and receive a one-hour session (Zoom or in person at our Studio in Hamden CT) for camera setup or image review. Attend both sessions and join
This workshop will teach you the many important aspects of bird photography:
bird behavior
exposure (changes dramatically when the bird is against the sky versus the ground)
Which autofocus mode to choose
which drive to use
light angle
shutter speed to stop action
composition
head angle
predicting behavior
exposure, etc.
*This workshop is limited to a small number of participants

Horned Lark, Bald Eagle, Eastern Bluebird, Junco, Black-capped Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Nuthatch, Goldfinch, Other Finches, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker, Red-bellied Woodpecker, etc.
*Responsible birding (and responsible photography for all subjects) is important for this, and all photography events. We do not wait, call, harass, or endanger birds for a photograph. The bird’s welfare is paramount while photographing. Any harassment or endangerment of the animals will result in the termination of your workshop without refund. Some locations also permanently bar offenders from coming back to their sites.
